ScionHealth is recruiting for a Front-End Web Designer & Developer to join our team!

Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-oriented and self-starting Front-End Web Designer & Developer. The Web Designer & Developer supports ScionHealth growth and Marketing initiatives through continual improvements to all company websites and enhancements to the digital experience.

In collaboration with the Marketing leaders and the Director of Marketing Technology, the Web Designer & Developer is responsible for updates, maintenance, and ongoing optimization for over 34 websites representing nearly 100 location-level experiences. This includes reporting, compliance, component development, template development, content authoring, and project support. The position will play an important role in business growth by enabling web experiences that serve as the digital front door for our hospitals and promote patient acquisition and retention.

Position Responsibilities

  • Align website strategy, content strategy, and user experience to overall integrated marketing strategy.
  • Manage analysis, design, workflow architecture, development, testing, and maintenance of websites.
  • Front end development, including page templates, component enhancements, styling, etc. in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites.
  • Lead website authoring (in AEM Sites) to support marketing campaigns, stakeholder requests, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Setup and monitoring of Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics (GA4), and Siteimprove.
  • Establish standard performance reports and communicate those to key stakeholders.
  • Work with Legal, Compliance and Security to ensure all websites meet HIPAA and other compliance standards.
  • Support key marketing initiatives, involving strategy, formulating objectives, scoping work efforts, creating alignment and steering digital projects to completion.
  • Develop detailed roadmaps, project milestones and timelines, and effectively track and report progress to Senior Leadership.
  • Support vendor management, including evaluations, contract reviews, and ongoing partnerships.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of front-end web development experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites.
  • 5+ years of experience in website management, including performance monitoring, quality assurance, and compliance.
  • 3+ years of experience in Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics (GA4).
  • Ability to manage and execute development projects, creating and maintaining multiple webpages and sites.
  • Working knowledge of online marketing tactics and applications including search engines, blogs, and creating effective landing pages.
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices and tactics to attract more website visitors, support marketing campaigns, and convert visitors into customers/patients.
  • Working knowledge of online advertising/media, direct marketing, and email campaigns, including knowledge of mass media communication and dissemination, advertising and marketing trends and tracking is desired.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Prior experience in healthcare preferred.

Skills Needed

  • Design and optimization of web interfaces and digital experiences.
  • Webpage authoring, including HTML and CSS.
  • Expert front-end development in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites.
  • Expert in Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics (GA4).
  • Implementation and monitoring of UTM parameters.
  • Understanding of HIPPA, accessibility, and other web compliance standards.
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment, effectively managing multiple tasks with evolving priorities.
  • A curiosity for digging into outcomes/performance and drive to improve tactics and processes.
  • A data-forward thinker who can intake figures/results, glean insights and implement next steps.
  • Coordinated planning/project planning skills; experience in taking projects from concept to completion.
