Job Description

Description We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our team in Elkmont, Alabama, at an industry leading company. In this role, you will serve as a key financial partner, working closely with operations and reporting directly to the VP of the Southern region. This position offers significant opportunities for growth and engagement with large-scale financial processes. Responsibilities: - Oversee cost inputs and collaborate closely with operations to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency. - Prepare detailed budget forecasts and manage comprehensive financial planning processes. - Analyze inventory data and conduct audits to maintain financial integrity. - Generate monthly financial reports that provide actionable insights for leadership. - Support large-scale financial operations. - Coordinate with the corporate office to utilize shared services for accounting and operational tasks. - Travel occasionally to company locations to ensure alignment with financial strategies. - Conduct cost analyses and evaluate return on investment for operational decisions. - Partner with leaders to implement and monitor financial strategies across multiple hatcheries. - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and contribute to continuous process improvement. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Proven experience in cost accounting, inventory analysis, and manufacturing finance. - Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. - Proficiency in Microsoft Great Plains Accounting software or similar platforms. - Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with operations teams on financial matters. - Proactive and efficient approach to problem-solving and team collaboration. - Familiarity with the poultry industry is preferred but not required. - Willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes.
