SRG Global is looking for an
Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager to join our team in
Evansville, IN Reporting to our Plant Manager, you will provide leadership and strategic direction by building a partnership with front-line leadership and collaborating with business partners to develop and mentor the production team related to EHS.
In this role, you will ensure systems to effectively address facility EHS risk profiles by balancing Safety and Environmental with approximately a 60% focus on environmental and a 40% focus on safety aspects.
What You Will Do - Provide transformational leadership, direction, and influence to achieve the EHS vision
- Develop and align facility EHS programs and strategies according to the business EHS plan
- Ensure the EHS vision is adopted and integrated by facilities
- Foster an environment where employees understand and exercise their decision rights on EHS
- Develop risk assessment methods/systems for anticipating, identifying, and evaluating hazards
- Increase critical hazard awareness thereby reducing the likelihood of at-risk behaviors
- Implement an effective change management process
- Partner with facility leadership to develop short and long-term EHS objectives
- Develop, improve, and implement training systems to meet plant needs
- Foster an EHS environment of collaboration and active participation with all employees
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Safety, Environmental, or related field
- EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience leading and developing EHS initiatives and programs
What Will Put You Ahead - Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or other professional safety certifications
- Experience with Title V compliance
- Experience managing EHS professionals
