Engineering Technician 1
Pay: $37 per hour
Contract to Hire
Location: Hybrid - Must be located within 50 miles of any of the COMPANY offices
(3 days onsite, 2 days remote/ week)

COMPANY is seeking an entry-level Engineering Technician to support the creation and modification of technical deliverables. Under close supervision, this role involves using design software and following established standards, processes, and document control procedures. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of drafting or engineering design technologies and a desire to grow their technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with creating/modifying engineering deliverables using CADD or similar tools
Learn and apply COMPANY standards, quality procedures, and document control practices
Support continuous improvement efforts and maintain personal accuracy
Develop an understanding of client needs and project goals
Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
Diploma or certificate in Drafting or Engineering Design-related field (Associate Degree preferred)
Basic knowledge of CADD or design/modeling software
Familiarity with engineering standards and quality systems
Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
Experience:
No prior engineering experience required.
