Position Title: Director of Emergency Services

Salary Range: $110552 $143707 annually

Schedule: Fulltime 36 hours per week Variable Shifts

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Emergency Services to lead our fastpaced Emergency Department. This pivotal role ensures the delivery of highquality patient care and operational excellence. The Director is responsible for strategic leadership direction and management of all aspects of the Emergency Services Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategize and implement solutions to address operational challenges enhancing patient care and service delivery.
• Lead and participate in hospital and departmental committees fostering interdepartmental collaboration.
• Drive initiatives to improve patient experience and satisfaction in the Emergency Department.
• Mentor and coach staff fostering a culture of growth accountability and continuous improvement.
• Maintain rigorous adherence to healthcare regulations and safety standards ensuring compliance across the department.
• Develop and oversee performance improvement programs that align with the hospitals mission and healthcare standards.
• Manage the departments budget staffing and resources efficiently to align with organizational goals.
• Establish and maintain strong communication lines within the department and with external stakeholders.
• Champion the development and implementation of emergency care standards and practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Nursing required; Masters degree in Nursing Business Administration Healthcare Administration or a related field strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• Current RN license in the state of Virginia or eligible for licensure.
• Certifications: ACLS PALS or ENPC and BLS required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a highvolume emergency department with proven outcomes in patient care.
• Excellent organizational decisionmaking and communication skills.
