Job Description

SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist for a client in the precision manufacturing industry located in Sparta, MI. This role is responsible for producing high-quality parts by setting up and operating lathe machines specifically Doosan CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathes (Doosan with Fanuc controls), including running two machines simultaneously.
• Interpret blueprints and technical documents to produce high-quality parts while ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Verify program suitability, select tooling, and perform basic programming adjustments as needed.
• Assist on CNC mills when needed (training provided) and maintain quality standards to minimize scrap.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and collaborate with the team to support continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma with 5+ years CNC lathe experience, familiar with Fanuc controls and G/M codes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and process efficiency.
• Familiarity and willingness to be trained on ERP systems.
• Preferred: experience with CNC programming, milling exposure, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Can efficiently multitask in the workplace.
