Job Description: Responsibilities - Set up, operate, and maintain lab equipment (e.g., reactors,
filtration systems).
- Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and samples.
- Perform chemical separations and extractions under supervision.
- Document experimental procedures, results, and observations
thoroughly.
- Maintain lab organization, safety protocols, and inventory.
- Assist in scaling processes from bench to pilot level.
- Collaborate with scientists to iterate on experiments and improve
processes.
Qualifications - Bachelors or Associates degree in chemistry, chemical engineering,
materials science, or related field or equivalent lab experience.
- 13 years of hands-on lab or industrial experience (internships
welcome).
- Comfortable handling chemicals and following lab safety standards.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Able to troubleshoot equipment and work in a hands-on environment.
- Enthusiastic about building from the ground up in a startup setting.
Bonus Skills - Experience with wet chemistry, solvent extraction, or inorganic
separations.
- Familiarity with analytical techniques (ICP-OES, titration,
spectroscopy).
- Background in R&D or pilot lab environments.
- Interest in sustainability, green chemistry, or circular economy
systems.
