All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** Full Time **Shift** : Day **Location:** 501 Redmond Road, Rome, GA 30165 **The community you'll be caring for:** AdventHealth Redmond **The role you'll contribute:** Responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in accordance with department protocols. This position assists physicians with interventional procedures such as transesophageal and stress echocardiograms. This role ensures knowledge and execution of all applicable departmental processes, and assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures. **The value you'll bring to the team:** + Performs routine and complex studies, in addition to assisting with a variety of imaging procedures. + Consistently obtains the highest quality scans possible in relation to patient body habitus. + Adapts procedure to each patients medical situation obtaining all available necessary information for proper interpretation. + Enters testing conditions, observations, test results, and patient demographic information into patient records. + Communicates abnormal findings to the reading physicians and notifies the physicians of procedures to be interpreted. Qualifications **The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed:** + Associate Required + Some relevant Work Experience [Required] + Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) [Required] OR + Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) [Required] AND + Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) [Required] OR + Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) [Required] AND + Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
