Position: Busser/Dishwasher/Bar Back
Location: Tailgaters Sports Bar & Grill, Frisco, TX
Reports To: FOH Lead, Bar Manager

Job Summary: MVPs Bar & Grill is looking for a dynamic and energetic individual to join our team as a Busser/Dishwasher/Bar Back. The ideal candidate must be fast-paced, highly organized, and able to multitask effectively in a busy environment. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our restaurant and bar areas, ensuring our guests have an outstanding experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Bussing Tables:

• Quickly clear and reset tables, ensuring the dining area is clean and presentable for new guests.
• Assist servers with delivering food and drinks to tables as needed.
• Keep the dining area stocked with essentials like napkins, condiments, and silverware.

Dishwashing:

• Operate the dishwashing machine to clean dishes, glassware, and kitchen utensils promptly.
• Ensure that all dishes are properly sanitized and stored in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area, including taking out trash and recyclables.

Bar Back:

• Support bartenders by restocking bar supplies, such as glasses, ice, garnishes, and liquor.
• Assist in keeping the bar area clean and organized, including wiping down surfaces and cleaning spills.
• Prepare and restock bar stations with necessary items before and during shifts.

General Support:

• Help with food prep and kitchen tasks during busy periods, as directed by the kitchen staff.
• Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries, ensuring items are properly stored.
• Be proactive in identifying areas where help is needed and jump in to assist without being asked.

Requirements:

• Speed and Efficiency: Ability to work quickly and efficiently, especially during peak hours.
• Multitasking: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize accordingly.
• Physical Stamina: Able to stand, walk, and carry heavy items for extended periods.
• Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with the entire staff and help wherever needed.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring that all tasks, from bussing tables to dishwashing, are done with a high level of care.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role in a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment.
• Knowledge of basic kitchen and bar operations.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
