Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in software engineering, with expertise in Python and backend technologies, along with experience working in cloud platforms.

Primary Responsibilities

• Contribute significantly to the development of innovative backend solutions across various service tiers
• Design and secure RESTful APIs for seamless integration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing detailed code reviews and ensuring high development standards
• Manage cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS, for efficient infrastructure-as-code implementation
• Create reusable backend code to streamline future projects
• Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts for engineering tools, policies, procedures, and security measures

Some Must-Haves

• 5+ years of professional software development experience in a mid to senior role
• Proficiency in backend technologies including Python (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
• Solid experience with MySQL and Docker
• Expertise in AWS, with a strong focus on AWS Lambda
• Ability to work effectively within software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)

Other Information

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
