Comfort Inn Bozeman is looking for an Assistant General Manager to help support day-to-day operations and be a key part of our leadership team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the General Manager and step in when needed to oversee staff and department operations. We’re looking for someone who understands the flow of hotel operations and brings a friendly, guest-focused approach to everything they do. A background in hospitality and a degree in hospitality management is preferred, but what matters most is a strong work ethic, a team-first mindset, and a drive to help the hotel succeed. • Support the General Manager in overseeing all hotel operations to ensure smooth and efficient daily performance
• Lead and motivate front desk team
• Step in as acting manager in the General Manager’s absence, handling guest concerns and employee matters
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating team members
• Monitor occupancy trends, room inventory, and pace to help drive revenue performance
• Ensure brand standards and quality assurance expectations are consistently met
• Review and resolve guest feedback with a focus on improving service and overall guest satisfaction
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that reflects the values of Comfort Inn Bozeman

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in hotel operations or hospitality leadership required
• Strong understanding of front desk, housekeeping
• Proven ability to lead teams and maintain a positive, productive work environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle guest concerns with professionalism and urgency
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable making decisions and taking ownership when the General Manager is unavailable
• Familiarity with property management systems and hotel operating procedures
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed
