Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Ardmore, OK. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
- Services, repairs, and overhauls of airframe, engine, propeller, components, and appliances, to ensure airworthiness by performing the following duties.
- Troubleshot, repairs, replaces, and rebuilds structural components and appliances, such as wings and fuselage, and functional elements, including rigging, surface controls, and plumbing and hydraulic units.
- Reads and interprets OEM and Supplemental Technical Manuals, service bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, local directives, and other specifications to determine maintenance methods and procedures.
- Examine engines for component damage and security, heat damage, and fluid leaks.
- Inspects turbine blades to detect Foreign Object damage, material wear, or failure through visual and borescope inspection.
- Test the engine operation to locate the source of the malfunction or perform operational checks.
- Replaces or repairs worn or damaged components such as the fuel controller, starter/generators.
- Remove the engine and reinstall it on the aircraft.
- Performs functional tests as needed.
- Performs miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including changing or inspecting fuel and oil filters, cleaning screens, aircraft lubrication, wheel and tire maintenance, such as tire changes, cleaning, and inspecting wheels and bearings.
- Charge and service Ni-Cad batteries, aircraft, and engine compressors; wash, clean, and service onboard sanitation facilities.
- Complete aircraft documentation as needed, including the IAW KACC repair station manual.
- Complete aircraft documentation as needed IAW with customer requirements or customer GMM (CAMP cards, Flight Doc cards, and customer-supplied approved task cards).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Boeing 737 Next Generation (737NG).
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Attention to detail.
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
- Airframe (A) license.
- Familiar with Boeing manuals.
- Boeing 737NG General Familiarization Course Certificate.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to concepts of introductory algebra and geometry.
- Ability to common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Able to become efficient in company technology and software programs.
Additional Information:

- While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions.
- Occasional exposure to explosives and vibration.
- The noise level is usually loud.
- Consistently wearing eye, hearing, foot, hand, respirator, and other protective equipment/safety gear is necessary.
- Able to climb ladders and stairs and work from heights (may exceed 30 ft).
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Regularly needed to walk, sit, stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear, and taste and smell.
- Frequently lift and move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Able to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends when necessary.
