Description We are looking for a talented Advertising Copywriter to join our team in Glendale, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in crafting creative and engaging brand messaging across digital, print, and social platforms for the Disney Store and Outlet. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team and contribute to campaigns that resonate with a global audience. Responsibilities: - Develop compelling copy for various brand assets, including web pages, mobile applications, and print materials. - Apply global voice guidelines and creative direction principles to ensure consistency across all platforms. - Craft headlines, sub-headlines, calls-to-action, and promotional content tailored to specific campaigns. - Write product descriptions that highlight unique features and benefits in an engaging storytelling manner. - Partner with graphic designers, merchandisers, and buyers to create cohesive brand messaging. - Provide copy for organic and paid social media posts across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and X. - Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, grammatical correctness, and alignment with brand voice. - Conduct market research to generate fresh ideas and ensure messaging is relevant to target audiences. - Collaborate with creative teams to execute assigned campaigns and meet project deadlines. - Attend team meetings and reviews to coordinate efforts and maintain alignment with brand strategies. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in advertising, media communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. - 3-5 years of copywriting experience with attention to detail, preferably in a retail environment. - Strong knowledge of creative development and website production processes. - Familiarity with Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic characters and stories. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Jira, and Teams. - Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Experience writing for social media platforms and creating SEO-friendly content.
